Event and Dining Service Coordinator 

 
SUMMARY: Manages all Food & Beverage administrative activities. Ensures that all reservations for regular dining and special events are booked and within the set parameters of the restaurant.
Communicates to the food and beverage management team of all other special events and requests for the membership. Ensures all food and beverage information is complete and accurate on calendars as well as any other special event advertisements. Works in conjunction with the Manager of Dining, Dining Room Supervisor, Executive Chef, and Marketing and Communications Coordinator.
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following
Event Development and Support
  • Ensure proper bookings of meeting spaces including floor plans, audio visual requirements and food & beverage needs.
  • Provide tours to potential clients and offer suggestions in an effort to sell the merits of the Club’s facilities for any occasion being planned.
  • Conduct ongoing member/non-member satisfaction surveys after each event, applying a proactive approach to gathering the host’s feedback in relation to food, beverage or service issues.
  • Conduct weekly BEO meetings to review scheduled events including detailed action plans and floor plans and troubleshoots potential challenges/conflicts to ensure clear and consistent communication across the department, both front and back of house
  • Create Profit & Loss statements for each member/non-member events.
  • Follow through with special events, vendor follow up, event planning, contract and billing.
  • Ensured department maintains a 99% satisfaction rating for event evaluations.
  • Communicates and coordinates with all departments to ensure that all event information is accurate and timely in all Food & Beverage information systems.
  • Provide clear expectations in setup, final details and inspection of finished room
  • arrangements based on banquet event orders; was present to greet client at the beginning of the event and oversee the actual service of the event through dinner service
  • Collaborate with Golf Professionals and Tennis Professionals for golf and tennis initiatives, events and programs.
  • Secure special event information in database.
  • Coordinates dining calendar with Executive Chef and the Manager of Dining Operations.
  • Books meeting rooms for internal staff needs.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
Associate Degree or equivalent from a two-year college and/or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Assistant Golf Professional-Full-Time (Seasonal)
 
SUMMARY: Ensures that member and guest golfers receive exceptional service with all their golfing needs including but not limited to merchandise, tournaments, check-in, club-fitting, instruction, cart & club rental and other day-to-day operations. Assists with the coordination of leagues, major tournaments, clinics, golf schools and other golf events.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following;
  • Assists the Head Golf Professional and the Directors of Golf Operations in maintaining tee times advanced bookings, committee meetings, Member/Guests and other programs and events and teaching individual, junior, and group lessons.
  • Organizes and runs golf leagues which include Men’s and Women’s nine and eighteen-hole leagues and as well as seasonal leagues. Sets up and run club tournaments for the entire golf membership.
  • Creates and develops a productive staff that monitors pace of play on both courses while communicating to members, rangers and starters.
  • Ensures that members and guests have an enjoyable time while on the golf course and enforces security for members and guests.
  • Manages the Pro Shop inventory and supervises the Pro Shop staff. Assists the membership, manages and books tee time reservations, lessons, checking in play for golf, merchandising, inventory control and balancing the registers.
  • Manages staff responsibilities including and updating daily checklists, updating software, scheduling, payroll and conducting meetings.
  • Investigates and resolves complaints of membership.
  • Assist in the receiving, displaying, inventory control, promotion and sales of merchandise in coordination with the Head Golf Professional and Merchandiser; maintains the cleanliness of the Golf Shop.
  • Assist in the development of golf revenues.
  • Promote and execute club fittings for members and guests.
  • Management of the member handicap program.
  • Responsible for both golf courses and practice facility direct supervision of the following: Making sure hazards are painted and staked properly, Out of Bounds are staked properly, maintaining any ground under repair, maintaining tee times and pace of play in coordination with starter on a daily-bases and in coordination with Outside Operations Manager, Head Golf Professional, and Director of Golf develop schedule for Practice Tee rotation to best utilize turf conditions.
 Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • High golf knowledge of the game, etiquette, handicapping, rules, tournaments, and teaching are a must for this position.
  • Knowledge of tournament preparations and procedures.
  • Requires excellent communication skills and time management skills.
  • Requires strong knowledge of USGA & PGA programs and eligibility to participate in the PGA Golf Professional Training Program.
  • Requires a strong playing and teaching background.
  • Ability to analyze data and prepare reports.
  • Ability to verbally communicate well in English and in writing.
  • Requires knowledge of the game of golf and etiquette.
  • Must be able to work out ofdoors and stand for long periods of time.

Education and Experience:

Dishwasher-Full Time 
 
SUMMARY: Maintains kitchen work areas, restaurant equipment, utensils, dishes and glassware in clean and orderly condition.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following;
  • Ensures the sanitary conditions of all items and that all Health Department standards are met.
  • Scrapes food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or places them in racks or on conveyor to dishwashing machine.
  • Washes dishes, silverware, glassware, kitchen equipment and other related items.
  • Washes tables, floors, ovens and dishwasher machines.
  • Washes pots, pans, and trays.
  • Segregates and removes trash and garbage and places it in designated containers.
 Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Must be familiar with dishwashing equipment.
  • Ability to verbally communicate well in English and in writing is preferred.
  • Ability to understand and carry out verbal and written instructions in English.
  • Ability to interact professionally and maintain effective working relationships with superiors, co-workers and members.
  • Must be able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
