Bear Lakes Country Club brings an exciting new level of golf to the Palm Beaches. Two distinctive 18-hole Jack Nicklaus signature courses offer exceptional play for both the casual and serious golfer. The design of each course offers its own array of challenges and rewards.
The Lakes course, a 7,439 yard Par 72, originally designed in 1984 and renovated in 2003 by Jack Nicklaus, offers strategically placed bunkers, undulating greens, shimmering lakes, and five sets of tees to accommodate all caliber of players. In 2005, the Lakes course was voted by Golf Digest as one of the top ten remodeled courses in the United States. The course offers exceptional playability and promises to create a memorable experience for all players.
The Links course, a newly renovated 7,403 yard Par 72 in 2009 and originally designed in 1987 by Jack Nicklaus, resembles the beauty of a seaside Scottish Links course. From the five sets of tees through the rolling fairways to the expanded greens, this course layout winds itself through graceful mounds, well-placed bunkers, and clusters of native grasses and colorful plantings depicting a character all its own. This course visually looks like no other course in Palm Beach County, offering an advantage for the shot makers. The Links offers golfers, that use their imaginations on and around the greens, a huge advantage using the backstops and slopes to funnel the ball close to the hole for an interesting challenge.
Both Bear Lakes courses are meticulously maintained in top playing condition. The staff of golf professionals stand ready to assist members and their guests, providing a spacious golf shop and personalized instruction on a newly renovated practice facility and in our new state-of-the-art indoor teaching facility. Members and their guests enjoy active participation in a busy schedule of Club tournaments and special events.
Golf membership provides unlimited access to all Club facilities including the six Har-Tru tennis courts, the aquatic center, clubhouse dining, banquet and social activities.
